shows results from a nitrogen adsorption study including the BET surface areas, pore volumes, and average pore diameters of SCSA-45. It is obvious from that zeolitic material from sugarcane straw ash has high specific surface area (350.13 m2 g-1). Their average pore size is 6.13 nm determined by BJH calculation (Barret-Joymer-Halnda method), which was in the mesopore range (pore size, 2-50nm). The mesoporous structure of the synthesized adsorbent is due the decrease in average adsorption pore diameter and average desorption pore diameter after hydrothermal treatment of sugarcane straw ash. Similar results were also obtained for the synthesis of zeolites from bagasse fly ash [, , ].
The silicalite sol formed by the hydrothermal method is very stable.
Zeolite works exceptionally well at fighting cancer as an informal 14 month study a number of years ago showed.
65 people with mostly stage 4 cancer, who had a prognosis of about 2 months to live, were given a type of liquid zeolite.
At the end of the study, 51 people were cancer free and six more were alive, but still fighting cancer. This is a 78% cure rate for terminal cancer, an incredible 89% survival rate.
This study was similar to what happens in the real world. There was no control as to what drugs people were taking, or what other protocols they were on. Every person in the study basically answered an ad in a newspaper that said, "If your doctor has given up on you, call us." So they were mostly people who had late stage cancer, whose doctors had sent them home to get their affairs in order.
Throughout the study, many patients used some sort of adjunctive treatment. For example, a lung cancer patient was told to go home and get his affairs in order. After three months on this liquid zeolite, he was feeling much better. He went back to his oncologist, who suggested that he was strong enough to undergo more chemotherapy and radiation. So he stayed on the zeolite, but he also went on chemo and radiation at that point.
Not bad for a bunch of folks sent home to die.

Dry gel conversion (DGC) technique is first applied in the synthesis of organic–inorganic hybrid aluminosilicate zeolites. By using the DGC method, methylene-bridged organic–inorganic hybrid zeolites with an MOR topology are synthesized without organic additive, which are structurally characterized by powder XRD, FTIR, solid-state 29Si, 13C, 27Al MAS NMR, SEM, elemental analysis, XRF, XPS, and N2 adsorption techniques. This work first reports that thus-synthesized methylene-bridged hybrid zeolites can be successfully bestowed with excellent catalytic activities through different modification treatments. Co2+-exchanged hybrid zeolites are applied in the epoxidation of alkenes with air to achieve good conversions and selectivities. Especially, methylene-bridged hybrid zeolites can be sulfonated with fuming sulfuric acid to form acidic MOR-SO3H catalyst, which exhibits highly catalytic activity for the acid-catalyzed condensation reaction of cyclohexanone and glycol. This method will be one potential route for the fabrication of organic–inorganic hybrid zeolite or related molecular sieve catalysts.

Many commercial washing powders thus contain substantial amounts of zeolites that enhance washing efficiency. AB - A-type zeolite membranes were successfully synthesized on tubular α-Al 2O 3 supports by secondary growth method with vacuum seeding. In the seeding process, a thin, uniform and continuous seeding layer was closely attached to the support surface by the pressure difference between the two sides of the support wall. The effects of seed particle size, suspension concentration, coating pressure difference and coating time on the membrane and its pervaporation properties were investigated. The as-synthesized membranes were characterized by XRD and SEM. The quality of the membranes was evaluated by the pervaporation dehydration of 95 wt.% isopropanol/water mixture at 343 K. High quality A-type zeolite membranes can be reproducibly prepared by the secondary growth method with vacuum seeding under the conditions: seed particle size of 500-1200 nm, suspension concentration of 4-8 g/l, coating pressure difference of 0.0100-0.0250 MPa and coating time of 45-180 s.
